As part of our coursework for my undergraduate degree, we were tasked with researching, planning and completing a short public relations campaign for a real client. Our chosen client was Lincoln DialaRide, a local charity that provides accessible and affordable transport to the local community. As part of our campaign we shot a short video explaining the DialaRide service, and gave them a list of recommendations for their website and social media profiles. The video we created can be viewed below.
The project was challenging, particularly the short time we had to meet with our client, agree the scope of the project and then finish the work. Despite this, we completed all aspects of our project on time and to a high standard, and provided them to DialaRide in advance of our deadline. The volunteer co-ordinator Penny Hardman was kind enough to attend the presentation we gave about the project and provided very positive feedback about the work we completed and working with us.
